What is the Payroll Services Alliance?

The Payroll Services Alliance is a collaboration leading payroll service companies that came together in 2015 with a view to establishing a truly global and comprehensive payroll and HR offering by bundling strong local expertise and services with optimised co-ordination and integration at an international level.

The alliance – which is formed of eight key partners – is now delivering global payroll coverage for more than 130,000 customers – not to mention better economies of scale, reduced inefficiency, and improved pan-geographic insight.

The PSA’s objective is to provide an HR and payroll service that ‘thinks global but acts local’, delivering compliance with both in-country and international legislation, whilst providing a much higher level of visibility about an organisation’s payroll and HR operations across borders.

Which companies are part of the Payroll Services Alliance?

The Payroll Services Alliance is made up of SD Worx, Ceridian, Sereco, Elanor, Aditro, Trianon, F2A, and Ascender.

First established by SD Worx, Aditro and their partners in 2015, the alliance has grown significantly and several new partners have been welcomed into the fold over the past two years. Asia-Pac based, Ascender, is the most recent payroll and HR provider to join, boosting the alliance’s coverage and capabilities across this region. In total, the Payroll Services Alliance has over 13,000 employees across the globe with more than €1,6bn in combined revenue.

What countries are the Payroll Services Alliance active in?

The Payroll Services Alliance is active across the globe. Now the third biggest payroll and HR conglomerate worldwide, the PSA serves more than 130,000 customers, delivering more than 32 million employee payslips every month.

Each PSA partner member specialises in a country or region. Ascender, as highlighted above, predominately focusses on Asia/Pac, whereas US-based Ceridian provides payroll and HR services across North America, Aditro in the Nordics, SD Worx, F2A, Seresco, Trianon and Eleanor specialise and focus in Europe. These specialities ensure that the PSA can offer tailored service packages to each of its customers, and can adapt accordingly as new location needs arise when organisations undergo market development.
